We’re excited to announce that the Cal Ripken World Series, the national championship for Babe Ruth baseball, has adopted the GameChanger software for mobile scorekeeping and live updates.
Using GameChanger’s free mobile app technology (available in the iTunes and Android App Stores), every game of the Cal Ripken World Series will be streamed live with pitch-by-pitch and in-game box score updates for over 50 games. Additionally, GameChanger records 150+ stats and spray charts for every player so that fans can track how their favorite player or team is performing over the course of a tournament or season.
Scorekeepers use GameChanger’s mobile app technology (available for free in iTunes & Android App Stores) to score each play on a handheld device, such as an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or any Android device. Cal Ripken World Series scorekeepers will be using iPad’s to score each game.
Follow Your Team LIVE
All Cal Ripken World Series tournament games will be scored and streamed live from GameChanger’s website. Fans can choose to follow for free with Basic Access or upgrade to Premium Access for $10.

The CRWS team with the highest fan count after the last out is made on Friday, August 19 wins an iPad for their league!
The iPad is for the home league of the winning team and will be loaded with the GameChanger Scorekeeper app for the league to use for future scorekeeping.

The free GameChanger scorekeeping apps for iPhone, iPad and Android are designed for coaches and scorekeepers of amateur teams and feature the exact same features as those used by the Cal Ripken World Series scorekeepers. Nearly 20,000 amateur teams have utilized the GameChanger software since it’s 2010 launch.

Follow on a Computer / iPad
- Go to the CRWS tournament page
- Find your team in the standings OR the schedule and CLICK on their name
- You will be taken to your team’s home page. Click on the GREEN “Follow for Free” button (see image below)
- Log in OR create a FREE account
- You now have “Basic Access” to that team
- To follow the LIVE GameStream, “Upgrade to Premium” Access. It’s the same GREEN button you clicked to “Follow for Free”. The button name just changed.
Follow on a Smartphone
Use your phone’s web browser:
- Use your phone’s built in web browser and follow the same steps as if on a computer or iPad.
Using our fan viewer app, GC Live (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad):
- Download GC Live from the iTunes App Store
- Create your account and purchase “Premium Access” online

- Set up “Premium Alerts” online (text & email). Watch this video about setting up “Premium Alerts”
A few notes:
1. Read more about “Basic Access” vs. “Premium Access”.
2. “Premium Access” is $10 to follow ONE team’s games for the entire tournament.
3. To purchase the entire tournament and access to EVERY team, upgrade to “Unlimited Access” for $100.
4. You can only purchase “Premium Access” for ONE team in GC Live.
