Scorekeepers get spray charts and improved error attribution

GameChanger App version 2.4 is available on the App Store. Download our newest app or point your iPhone / iPod / iPad to the App Store Updates.

Version 2.4 has several minor bug fixes and a couple of feature additions:

Spray Charts

In mid-February we announced player spray charts on GameChanger.io. Now they are available in-game on the scorekeeping application. To access spray charts and play history for your current game, tap the area where the batter’s name is listed and select “Batter History” from the Batter Action menu.

Scroll through the whole lineup with the arrows in the top right of the Play History screen. View Batting, Running, Defense or All play history with the tabs at the bottom of the screen.

Error Attribution

In advanced fielding mode, plays that include an error and multiple defensive players now prompt the scorekeeper to attribute the error to the appropriate fielder.

Turn on advanced fielding in the Settings tab at the bottom of the scoring screen on your app.

Our New Name

We changed our name in the App Store from GameChanger to GameChanger Baseball / Softball Scorekeeping. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but should make it easier for coaches and scorekeepers to find us by searching.
